This is one of our absolute favorite houses – partly for its charm, partly for its location. Fitch Street is located on the east side of Albion and many of the homes built in this block were post-WWII builds. These are solidly built homes smaller homes with simple layouts and block basements on approximately quarter-acre lots.
The owner of this home had passed on and left it to family members who rented it to friends and family for the past few years without much updating apart from the electrical work – someone along the way was an electrician for sure. Someone in the family got in touch with us at ACE Investment Properties and the transaction was quick and seamless.
We knew this could be a lovely home by adding some key upgrades. So we swapped out the entire bathroom, installed a new tub with tile surround, vanity and toilet, replumbed the whole house, refinished the beautiful hardwood floors, installed a new furnace and central AC, and installed a new kitchen.
We are so happy with how this project turned out and so is our tenant – she constantly tells us how much she loves this home.
